Our First Show Thoughts

Grigg and I organised to go to a gym up near Newcastle for abit of an arm workout before we went to the show, so we got our gear together and headed off. We had the music pumping and we’re keen as! We checked out the net and found that there was a Genesis Gym at Warners Bay, never being to a Genesis Gym before we thought what the hell, lets check it out.

After doing a massive workout we headed over to the Newcastle Panthers Club to checkout the show and see what was going on. As this was our first ever show we weren’t to sure what to expect, we did have some hopes and thoughts on what might of been there but honestly had no clue.

Rocking up we then headed up stairs to the auditorium where the show was happening.

Format: Prejudging 10:00am – Night Show Finals 3pm
Tickets: ONLY available on the day.
Ticket Cost: All Day Access $40.00

There was quite a large crowd throughout the day which was great to see and the competitors in each devision were amazing. I personally think its an amazing feet just to get up on that stage and do what the guys and girls were doing. I know personally i would of been scared to all buggery. The level of details and even number of competitors was huge at one point they were struggling to fit everyone on stage.

Overall I think the event went off really well, lots of competitors and people turned out. I was however a little disappointed with the times as both the pre-judging the finals were running late. I did hope to see alot of supplement stands and product promotions but there were only four there on the day. I would like to give a shout out to Advanced Sports Nutrition who took the time to explain to us their products and the quality that they have. Checkout there products and help the aussie brands.

The only thing i would like to see more online is final coverage of the event in the way of Final Results list, Photos and Videos.
